Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator, University of St. Thomas
Michelle Morgan currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of St. Thomas. She came to St. Thomas in 2010 from the Minnesota Wild organization, where she held various roles within the Corporate Sponsorships department from 2005-2010. Michelle is a member of the NCAA Division III women’s Ice Hockey Championship Committee, serves as a member of the Education and Professional Development Committee for Women Leaders in College Sports, and is a trained Division III Game Day Ambassador by the NCAA in partnership with the Disney Institute. Since 2014, she has been the Director of Events for the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association, in which she was in charge of game management and team logistics for the 2016 NHL Stadium Series at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and the 2017 NHL Winter Classic at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
Morgan is among 25 emerging administrators in collegiate athletics who have been selected to participate in the 2017-18 NCAA Pathway Program; a committee of current athletics administrators and past program attendees, across all NCAA divisions, selected the participants for the yearlong experiential leadership learning opportunity with the goal to prepare participants to run all facets of an athletics department. She has an Executive MBA and BA from the University of St. Thomas, and is a former student-athlete at St. Thomas in women’s hockey.
