Regional Director, Southern California
Kat Lauer serves as the Regional Director for Southern California. Kat has played significant roles in development with several organizations, including her Alma mater UCLA, where she served as the Director of the Bruin Varsity Club. Kat also served on the PCA Leadership Council in Los Angeles for two years, prior to starting full time with PCA.
A Connecticut native, Kat Lauer came to Los Angeles in 2010 to compete as a member of the Women’s Rowing Team at UCLA, where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in Sociology. During her time at UCLA, she was a member of the Bruin Athletic Council, Athletes in Action, and an intern for the Wooden Athletic Fund.
Following the completion of her degree, she worked in Development for UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital before becoming the Director of the Bruin Varsity Club at UCLA Athletics, where she was the liaison between the university and former student-athletes. In this role, she was responsible for creating opportunities for fundraising, engagement and mentoring with current and former student-athletes. Kat enjoys staying active in her free time by hiking, swimming, competing in triathlons, playing slow-pitch softball, and doing yoga.
