Bob Lambert is a Managing Director in the Scottsdale, AZ office of Harvard Group International, focusing upon the travel industry, sports leadership, and nonprofit practices. He also specializes in executive search and leadership advisory in market niches within the travel industry. Bob also leverages his years of leadership experience working in his own consulting firm, Global Sales Advisors, LLC- consulting with multiple clients on sales, strategy, negotiation skills & leadership development. Before joining Harvard Group, Bob spent more than 30 years in the travel industry where he held senior leadership positions with Avis Budget Group in sales and sales management, both in the field and at the headquarters level. In his most recent Senior Vice President role, he led the $800 million Global Account & Government Sales businesses for Avis Budget Group. His previous line management experience encompasses roles in commercial sales, travel industry sales, and partnerships. He oversaw partner relationships with major sports teams, some of which included the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco Forty-Niners, San Francisco Giants, and Oakland Athletics. Bob has been a presenter, panelist, speaker and sponsor at numerous industry events and global conferences and has served on multiple industry boards and councils.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Positive Coaching Alliance, Phoenix Chapter, a national nonprofit developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.
Bob earned a B.A. degree from Texas Tech University, College of Media & Communications. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Rae Lynn.
