Jon centers all aspects of his life around helping others live richer lives. As a father of 4, Jon is passionate about empowering children with teamwork and leadership skills through sports. Over the years, he has coached all of his children in various sports (baseball, softball and soccer) and has served on the board for Magnolia Little League; As a family, Jon & his wife Gretchen are helping children and families in need live richer lives through their active support of Childhaven, The Moyer Foundation, and Lift Up Africa; As co-founder and CEO of Brighton Jones, Jon challenges his organization to live more fully into its mission of helping their clients, colleagues and community members live richer lives. This pursuit has created a culture at Brighton Jones that has been recognized by Seattle Business Magazine (Washington’s Top 100 Places to Work for nine years) and the Puget Sound Business Journal (2015 Corporate Citizenship Award for Basic Needs). On a personal note, Jon is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching his Cougars, (Washington State University, BA Finance & Accounting), Seahawks and Mariners play.
Jon’s motto, “Live like you will die tomorrow; learn like you will live forever!” comes from the famous words of Mahatma Gandhi: “ “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” He strives to live a richer life everyday by focusing on family, friends and giving back.
