Willoughby South High School; Softball
Kristen Jesberger makes others want to do and be better. A 4.0+ student and starting Varsity catcher, Kristen will be attending John Carroll University in the Fall where she plans to continue her softball career. She has been a leader on and off the field at Willoughby South High School for years where she is well known for her work ethic, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and dedication to her teammates. Her willingness to put in extra time in the cages, support and encourage struggling teammates, hold watch parties, and teach and review new drills, has earned her the nickname “Gammy” and influenced and impacted her teammates to strive to want and do more.
Simple actions such as using appropriate language, picking up bats for batters, or sincerely shaking hands at the end of a game demonstrate the conduct I embrace during my season. Respecting my teammates and opponents as we battle in competition is one skill I carry throughout all my years of play.
