Vona Hill is a Strategy and Implementation specialist who partners with businesses, entrepreneurs, and executives to help them create and achieve goals. She knows that success is driven by an ability to effectively leverage a unique value proposition in a given marketplace. With a comprehensive approach that is as tactical as it is strategic, she helps each client articulate a vision, formulate an action plan, and execute through to completion.
Vona received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University. Upon graduation she joined the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a financial director and corporate-partner liaison. She later launched a parent coaching firm to empower parents to become more engaged by educating them on key science-based principles of early childhood development.
In 2010, Vona founded Managing Perspectives, LLC and has since worked to help businesses, corporations, and professional individuals find success using applied strategy. Managing Perspectives provides consulting in areas such as corporate planning, marketing, and negotiations, as well as implementation support services such as training and project management.
As an energetic mom of three, she and her husband have always enjoyed coaching their children in sports. Vona soon recognized a stark lack of quality football programming in her community. So true to her engineering spirit of “see a need, fill a need”, she started her own youth football program called Red Zone Youth Football.
In 2016, with the help of former NFL and NCAA Div-1 football players, Vona launched her first summer training clinic, “Train Like a Pro”. TLP was very well received, with 41 families enrolling in the first session. Word of the fun and education camp spread quickly. In just two short years, Red Zone has grown to over 200 families and now offers options such as flag-football league play, private and small group training, transition to tackle training, and coaching clinics, in addition to its popular summer camps. Vona is dedicated to creating youth sporting environments that are both healthy and competitive. Her programs reflect a mom's perspective on what sports should be for children, and her mission is to ensure that the adults who surround young athletes keep the athletes' growth, development, and well-being as the highest priority.
