A native New Englander, Jen played field hockey and basketball in high school. She went on to row for 4 years at The University of Rochester, where she developed her love of competition and sports. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from University of Rochester, as well as a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with children, families, and communities in a variety of capacities over the past 20 years.
Jen has also coached Junior Football for 5 years, working with boys ages 7 to 14 years old. Her focus has been on offensive line, defensive line, and conditioning. She has served administrative roles on the team and on the program’s Executive Board. She believes that the intersection of child development and athletic development is a very powerful place for young people and their families.
Jen and her husband make their home in the Pacific Northwest, where they are also the proud parents of two very active boys, who play a variety of sports.
