Chris Hartley is an energy trading risk management executive experienced in implementing oil, gas and power solutions for commodity trading shops.  His corporate experience began as a fixed income analyst for Goldman, Sachs supporting sovereign third world debt.  Chris transitioned to energy products in 2000 cutting his teeth specifically with power products and over the course of his career has also managed trade life cycles of oil, gas, and precious metals trading, financially and physically.  Chris has worked in NYC, Baltimore, Charlotte, San Francisco and has called Houston home since 2008.  Along the way Chris has worked with Bank of America, Wells Fargo and currently as a Manager in Consulting Solutions for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.  Chris received a BA in History from SUNY-Albany and an MBA in Global Energy Management from the University of Houston.

Chris has been active in youth sports as an athlete, parent, coach and general manager.  He grew up on Long Island playing football, basketball, baseball and lacrosse.  Chris played Little League, organized contact football with the Generals and Catholic Youth Organization basketball for St. Thomas parish, all in West Hempstead, NY.   While at Chaminade High School Chris was QB1 in 1984 and 1985, pole-vaulted for the track team and played midfield for the lacrosse team.

As a parent Chris has coached baseball at Timbergrove Sports Association in Houston Heights.  Chris is also the general manager for the select baseball team, Thunder.  In 2021 his Thunder team competed in the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame tournament in Cooperstown, NY.

Chris is married to Alli, a pastry chef, and they have 2 sons: Owen & Ryan.  Both boys play baseball competitively as middle and high schoolers.
