Ken Harkenrider has taught Social Studies, English and Physical Education as well as having coached boys and girls soccer since he began at Canterbury School in 1989. He currently serves as the Director of Athletics for the 27 high school teams competing each year, as well as coaching middle school level soccer teams. Ken served as president of the Midland Athletic Conference from 1997-2002 while Canterbury was a conference member, and has occasionally been on adhoc committees of the IHSAA in the state of Indiana.
In addition to the school, Ken is on staff with the Indiana Youth Soccer Association presenting coaching license courses and coordinating the Olympic Development Program for the Northeast Indiana District.
Ken earned his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1984, where he also won four letters and served as senior team captain for the men's soccer team. He and his wife, Lorie, have 3 children.
