Jamie Halper is Chairman of the Owl Rock Opportunistic Fund and was a former Partner at Leonard Green and Partners, where he worked for 16 years. He had earlier roles as co-founder and President of TDA Capital Partners, a private equity firm with investments in developing countries in his 32-year career in private equity. Jamie is a member of the Stanford University Board of Trustees, Chairman of its Finance Committee, and a Board member of Stanford Management Company. Jamie is co-founder and Chairman of Step Up Tutoring, a non-profit organization, which has partnered with LA Unified School District to provide free online tutoring to students in under-resourced communities. Jamie is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Jamie and his wife, Priscilla have four children and live in Los Angeles. Jamie earned a BA from Stanford in Economics and an MBA from Harvard.
