SoFi Hawaii Bowl Executive Director, Daryl Garvin, is entering his fifth year at the helm of Hawaiiʻs only NCAA postseason football game. Daryl, who joined the Hawaii Bowl in 2008 as Director of Operations, quickly rose up the ranks becoming the Bowl’s Associate Executive Director in 2009 and Executive Director in 2015.

As the treasurer of the Hawaii Bowl Foundation, Daryl actively supports the organization’s mission to assist Hawai‘i-based 501(c)3 organizations, especially nonprofits providing services to Hawai`i 's youth.

Before joining ESPN, Daryl worked for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties in Honolulu and served as Vice President of Chesapeake Concerts, a Washington DC-based entertainment organization for which he presented touring Broadway theatricals and concert events nationwide ranging from “Cats” and “Beauty and the Beast” to the Dave Matthews Band to the Backstreet Boys to Alan Jackson and more. 

Prior to that, Daryl served in the United States Army, reaching the rank of Sergeant. After exiting the military, he began his professional career in Washington DC, where he was part of the management team at the historic Warner Theatre. He later managed the Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore.

Daryl is married to Mei Jeanne Wagner and they have a son Kealoha who will graduate from Assets High School in May of 2019.
