Reginald "Reggie" Garcia
Reggie Garcia is a Los Angeles native joining Positive Coaching Alliance as a Community Engagement Manager. Reggie's impact work started in 2014 with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Nike, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Clippers, and the YMCA. He is a Whittier College Alumni and received his Master's Degree in Education in Athletic Administration from Midwestern State University. In his role as a Community Engagement Manager, Reggie aims to serve low-income communities in Los Angeles, assuring youth sports organizations have the appropriate coaches, training, and resources needed so we can continue to make strides in closing the Sports Equity Gap in Black and Brown communities. Given that this has been his passion, Reggie is excited to lead these efforts in Los Angeles and make an impact in his community. Outside of work, Reggie is a basketball junkie, movie lover, and Disneyland goer with an obsession with collecting sneakers.
