Israel Flores grew up in eastern Oregon playing several sports from basketball and track to wrestling. While attending Riverside High School, Israel was also involved in student groups like his high school's associated student body and was a regional representative for Oregon Student Safety On the Move (O.S.S.O.M.) which went around to different school to help tutor, teach kids about safety and the ill effects of drugs and alcohol. He went on to wrestle at Clackamas Community College and finished his undergraduate degree at Central Washington University in Psychology. Along the way, he spent a couple of years coaching middle school and little kids folk style and freestyle wrestling.
Right after college and three years in the Washington National Guard, Israel received his commissioned for active duty Army. He spent a total of eight years on active duty with one deployment in Iraq and two years in South Korea. After his final year in the Army at Ft. Hood Texas, Israel returned to Oregon and now resides in Beaverton with his family pursuing his graduate degree from The University of Oregon, Masters of Science in Sports Product Management.
