CarmenRose Fiallo

Social Media, Advocacy, and Outreach Community Manager, Nectar Digital Collaborative

Pronouns: She/Hers

Growing up in Portland, sports always kept CarmenRose Fiallo busy. Whether it was basketball, soccer, racquetball, or dance team she loved staying active and being part of a team. Once she reached college, she desired a way to harness the community aspect of a sports team in order to benefit marginalized populations in her community.

After studying Sociology and Spanish at Oregon State University, she landed a spot with the Portland Trail Blazers as their Community Programs Intern. This opportunity allowed her to combine her passion for serving her community along with her love for sports. During this internship she was introduced to over 40 amazing non-profits across the Portland area, most of which were focused on getting and keeping kids active. She was inspired by the power of sports to bring people together. She admired how beneficial sports can be for kids and their communities. She is currently keeping busy with community outreach for various non-profits along the West Coast. In her free time, she enjoys the beautiful outdoors that Oregon has to offer, especially with her dog alongside her. She finds joy in spending time with her friends, family, and finding new and innovative ways to better the community around her. CarmenRose is excited to further this passion and work as a member of Positive Coaching Alliance’s Associate Board.
