Serajh Esmail

Community Engagement Associate

Serajh grew up in Sacramento, CA, where his favorite sports were basketball and track. While in college, Serajh was an Obama Foundation Member, President of the National Society for Leadership and Success, participated in neuroscience research, ran track and field, and coached middle school basketball. Serajh graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a degree in Neurobiology and a minor in Public Policy. He has spent the last year coaching basketball remotely and has been conducting traumatic brain injury research at the Stanford Brain Performance Center. While at Stanford, he developed a Concussion Safety Protocol and Return-to-Play Guidelines for Positive Coaching Aliance’s coaches, which exists as resources in our Coach Portal.
