Dr. Donahue is an orthopedic surgeon at SOAR Clinic in Redwood City and has served as team physician for the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford University as well as an orthopedic consultant for the San Francisco Giants. He is the team physician for Santa Clara University.
Joseph graduated from Stanford University where he was on the ski team and captain of the men’s lacrosse team. He then went on to pursue medicine at Columbia University Medical School. He completed his residency at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. He returned to the Bay Area to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship with SOAR and has joined SOAR as a partner. He is Board Certified in both orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine.
Joseph lives in Atherton, California with his wife and their three children. Joe coaches and is on the Board of the Firehawks Lacrosse club and coaches his children’s soccer teams. During the summer, Joe returns to Camp Dudley where he was a camper and counselor and now serves as the camp physician.
