Chief Advancement and Marketing Officer
As Chief Advancement and Marketing Officer, Darcy sits on the Executive Team and is responsible for the strategic oversight and implementation of PCA’s comprehensive fundraising, marketing, and communications work. She brings more than 25 years of professional experience, most recently as Chief Advancement Officer for Making Waves Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to advance educational opportunities for college-bound, career-minded, historically underrepresented, and underserved youth. Prior, she worked in development roles at Stanford University, most recently serving as Associate Dean for External Relations at the School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Science and Director of Corporate, Foundation, and International Relations for the Graduate School of Business. Darcy worked at UC Berkeley for Cal Athletics during the reopening of California Memorial Stadium partnering with coaches and administrators across 29 sports as Chief Development Officer. She also served as Director of Advancement, The Americas for London Business School. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, she worked in business development and marketing in the technology and telecommunications sector.
Darcy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Thomas Jefferson University, a Master’s in Business Administration in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School, and a certificate in strategic marketing management from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is an avid hiker and traveler. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Darcy and her husband live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
