Gary R. Clayton is a professional, proven executive with over 30 years experience in business start-up, management, marketing, and sales of technology services. His strengths include negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, management, business model / plan development, strategic market analysis and business development, financial management, infrastructure development, vendor relationships, website functionality and operations, software and systems evaluation.


Mr. Clayton brings his experience from a prestigious business and technology career to his toolbox as a master mediator and negotiator. Having owned and operated several successful ventures in technology, business, and healthcare, he is keenly aware of the conflicts in the marketplace and the opportunities for resolution. He also works in private negotiations, negotiation/mediation strategy and civil mediation. He has significant mediation experience in conflicts involving business agreements/contracts, finance and property disputes, accident and injury, and family matters.


Mr. Clayton has extensive knowledge and experience in the formation and management of technology businesses and has successfully negotiated many multi-million dollar agreements.


Mr. Clayton currently is a managing director of Negotiate.Pro, a firm specializing in conflict mitigation and a principal at Polymorphic Solutions Inc. Mr. Clayton is a member of the Dallas BBB arbitration panel. He is actively involved with Southern Methodist University’s Department of Dispute Resolution as well as Dallas County’s Dispute Resolution Center (DCDRC) as a mediator and mediation coach.


Mr. Clayton is a graduate of the prestigious Saint Marks Preparatory School in Dallas, Texas where he sat on the board of trustees. He earned a B.S. degree in Applied Engineering Mathematics from University of Colorado School of Engineering, M.S in Operations Research and Engineering Management from SMU School of Engineering; M.A. in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from SMU School of Education and Human Development; Psy.D. in Mediation (candidate pending dissertation); Credentialed Advanced Mediator (CAM) by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association; Certified Mediator for elder, civil and family Texas court annexed cases; and is a Certified Data Processor (CDP), Additionally, Mr. Clayton has considerable technical IT training, skill and experience in mainframe legacy systems, software development and maintenance.


Mr. Clayton currently sits on the board of directors of the North Texas Chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance and the Southwest Conflict Resolution Network.
