Joe has spent over 30 years with the San Antonio Spurs organization, serving in various vital roles since beginning his career as a Spurs Sales Intern.

Currently, he leads the Spurs Sports Academy which hosts competitive tournaments and camps to develop young athletes while inspiring lifelong memories and building character through competition.

A native of Janesville, Wisconsin, Joe received his Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Master’s in Sports Management from Western Illinois University. He is a member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, Men’s Acts and TMIY community with Holy Trinity Church and is a AAU Basketball Coach. He mentors as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and serves on the board for Baylor University’s S3 program (Sports, Sales and Sponsorship) and the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation. He also is currently a member of SA Sports and Business Alliance, a graduate of the Greater San Antonio & Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Leadership San Antonio Class #34 and has served as a steering committee member for LSA Class #38.

He and his wife, Linda, have two daughters, Kelsey, Alyssa, and a son, AJ. He enjoys running, golf, reading, yard work and spending time with family, including his two dogs.
