Connor Clark

Local Board Member, Minnesota

As an homage to his father (who was affectionately referred to by everyone simply as "Coach") and the game that helped shape his worldview, Connor gravitated to coaching hockey to try to give back to the community that has supported him endlessly – and to do so in a fashion that aligns with the constructive legacy his late father had earned.

A Southwest Minneapolis native, Connor has been an active participant in the game of hockey (albeit in varying capacities) for the past three decades and has a goal of continuing this participation for at least three more. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 2010, Connor came back to Minnesota and served as a youth coach in the Minneapolis Hockey Association (an evolved version of the association he grew up playing in) for 11 years. He then ventured into new communities, working with the Bloomington Jefferson Boys high school team for a season before transitioning to his current role with the Eden Prairie Boys high school program. In addition, he has extended his coaching experience by serving as a Coach Developer for USA Hockey.

Even while employed as a consultant and a sales representative, Connor has always considered hockey to be his real "work". Most recently, Connor is fortunate to have had passion intersect with profession and was afforded a unique opportunity to take on the role of Hockey Programs Manager for Minnesota Hockey, the governing body of youth and amateur hockey in Minnesota and the premier developer of hockey players in the state. In this role, Connor is excited to share his passion for the game and leadership development with a broad and diverse group of players all across Minnesota.
