Eric Chernik is the President for Relevant Solutions, a commercial HVAC controls distributor, and portfolio company of Luther King Capital Management. He leads a dynamic team that covers the United States in helping commercial businesses create efficiencies, comfort, safety and security for their campuses and buildings. He has spent the last 20+ years working across a number of B2B distribution companies including Grainger, Lennox, FleetPride and AAR Corp. Eric has honed his general management career with stints in Branch/Store Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, LEAN and Market Expansion.
Eric graduated with a BA (Economics & Sociology) and MA (Organizational Behavior) from Stanford University. While there, he student managed the Men's Volleyball team under Fred Sturm and Ruben Nieves (Director of Training, PCA - California). Part way into his career, Eric went back to school to achieve his MBA, from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business.
Eric is involved with his family in orphanages in Rwanda and Haiti. He also serves as a Mentor for the Dallas Entrepreneur Center and an Advisor for the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies. He lives in Southlake, TX, with his wife, Beth, daughter, Hannah, and son, Graham (student-athlete at Carroll Senior High School). Eric has coached both of his children in their youth sports in Illinois (soccer, baseball, basketball and football -- definitely, not dance). He is relatively new to DFW area, as he grew up in New York City and has lived in San Francisco and Chicago for most of his adult life.
A fun fact about Eric is that he is a world traveler, having been to 89 countries, and counting.
