Leslie Campbell is a seasoned professional who has provided HR and operational leadership to a number of mission-driven organizations. With over 25 years of experience, Leslie is currently the Chief People & Equity Officer at the Jed Foundation. She was previously Vice President of People Operations Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and, before joining CZI, served as Vice President of Human Resources for California College of the Arts, where she led various initiatives such as the oversight of Title IX, the establishment of market-based compensation, Staff Advisory, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.

Previously, Leslie provided leadership development services to Fortune 500 companies, as a consultant at PDI Ninth House, a global management consulting firm. At Apogee Telecom, she helped position the startup to become one of the largest residential network providers on college campuses as their Chief Operating Officer. Leslie began her work with nonprofits as KIPP Austin Public School’s first HR Director. She later oversaw Human Resources for California’s largest, centralized charter school system as HR Director for Aspire Public Schools.

Leslie has a Masters of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She continues to pursue social justice in her community as a founding member of the Piedmont Racial Equity Campaign, which aims to establish racial equity in Piedmont’s city, schools, and housing. Leslie also played varsity soccer in high school and as an adult, and now cheers on her son in the Special Olympics.
