Jon is head of US Leveraged Finance Sales, which includes High Yield Sales, Distressed Sales, Bank Coverage Sales and Par Bank Loan Sales. Previously, he was a salesperson on the Distressed Sales desk, and prior to that, on the High Yield Sales desk from mid-2006 to 2011. Jon began his career as a money-market salesperson in Boston from 2000 to 2002 and in San Francisco from 2002 to 2006. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 and was named managing director in 2011 and partner in 2016.
Jon serves on the Board of Overseers at Colby College and serves as an advisor to the Driver Group, a cancer therapeutics company he helped launch in 2013.
Jon earned a BA in History and English from Colby College in 1998 and an MSc in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford in 2000.
