Shawn Armstrong

Shawn Armstrong is the Accounting Manager for Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). He is an accounting and finance professional with over 20 years of relevant experience over diverse industries including, healthcare, insurance, financial services, government, retail, food, media & entertainment, consulting and nonprofit.

Shawn originally a Baltimore City native, finish high school early and worked as a paid intern at John Hopkins Hospital during his Sr. Year. Shawn graduated from Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland with a double degree in Accounting & Finance along with being a scholar athlete NCAA D1 football player (WR) for the Maryland Terps. He served PCA on a temporary basis in the accounting department as a consultant on more than one contract. Prior to that, Shawn held other leadership positions for VFS Global, 1st Choice and Habitat for Humanity (DC/VA).

Shawn is thrilled and very excited to join PCA as he connects personally with PCA’s mission. He is very motivated and enthusiastic about the importance of sports and education as it is related to youth. This presents opportunities and builds relationships that positively impact people’s lives.

Outside of work, Shawn is true sports fan (all sports at every level), play basketball for cardio, workout, ride bike cycle, swim, like to travel and spend time with family and friends.
