Kaitlyn Merritt is a former All-American Stanford pole vaulter and two-year Captain of the Women’s Track and Field Team. During her time at Stanford, she was a two-time NCAA qualifier in 2018 and 2019, MPSF Champion in 2019, and Pac-12 Runner Up in 2018. Kaitlyn grew up competing in gymnastics before transitioning into track and field during middle school. She has always been passionate about sports and credits her coaches along the way for never failing to believe in her on and off the field. She has gained life-long mentors through sports and loves giving back to the community that built her up.  Kaitlyn has coached track throughout high school and college and worked part-time as a gymnastics coach while earning her doctorate in physical therapy at Duke University. Kaitlyn is now a physical therapist working with youth and college athletes in Centennial, Colorado. She continues to have a passion for teaching and instilling character and positivity through sport.
