It is with great sadness we share the news that 2012 DGC Winner, Karen Hadley, recently passed away. Karen was the epitome of a Double-Goal Coach®- always filling her players' emotional tanks and ensuring they all felt seen and appreciated. She asked that donations in her honor be made to PCA to continue the work that we do to ensure kids have a positive, character-building youth sports experience. Watch this video to see the impact Karen was making with kids at Claire Lilienthal Alternative School. If you would like to make a donation in Karen's name, please click here. Thank you to the 25+ supporters who have already donated in memory of Karen. We are honored to be a part of Karen's legacy.
Coaches play an incredibly influential role in the lives of athletes. Often players spend more time with their coaches than anyone else outside of the home environment. That's why it's crucial that we recognize and hold great coaches up as an example to others. Is your coach a Double-Goal Coach®? If so, please consider nominating them for the Double-Goal Coach Award for 2022 which will open August 1, 2021. For a reminder to nominate your coach in August 2021, please provide your information here.
