Positive Coaching Alliance - Tampa Bay
The mission of the PCA Triple-Impact Competitor® Alumni Association is to foster a mutually beneficial, lifelong relationship between Positive Coaching Alliance- Tampa Bay and Triple-Impact Competitor® scholarship award winners from the Tampa Bay community.
Membership to the Alumni Association is earned by those who have received a Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship from Positive Coaching Alliance- Tampa Bay. Participation represents a student-athletes desire to stay connected to PCA. Participation in the Alumni Association provides former winners with connections to the business community and gives former winners the opportunity to network with fellow former winners and develop future contacts for personal and professional success. Former winners will also have exposure to local business leaders and the chance to give back to the community by serving as mentors to the upcoming and future classes of scholarship winners.
Involvement & Events
The Alumni Association will host two events per year: one during the winter and one during the summer. All members of the Alumni Association are invited and encouraged to attend. Additionally, PCA board members, Champions Club members, local high school athletic directors, and local high school coaches will be invited and encouraged to attend. Events serve as a chance to connect with leaders who support PCA’s mission, as well as a chance for Competitors to reconnect with their high school athletic directors, coaches, and mentors. Members may become more involved in the Alumni Association in many different ways, such as submitting class notes, assisting in the planning of events, and reaching out and staying connected to PCA and its partners.
Most communication will take place via email. Email newsletters will be sent out once every two (2) months. Included in these newsletters will be information on the upcoming event, class notes, updates on the current year Triple-Impact Competitor® scholarship program, and additional information regarding PCA- Tampa Bay and the impact we are having on children and teenagers participating in sports throughout our community.

I am attending UCF. I am just starting into my junior year since I came into UCF with college credits from high school. I should be set to graduate in early to mid 2020. My first year as a freshman, I made the football team for UCF and I was red shirted that first year. I also maintained the athletic honor role while being part of the team. The next year, last year, we went all season undefeated including our Peach bowl game in Atlanta against Auburn live on TV! Being red shirted my first year, making me still a freshman last year, I did not play in the game but, I was part of everything none the less, which was so awesome. That was one of the most exciting and fun times of my life. As a team we participated in many community events and met a lot of great people.
