As part of the PCA #LifeisaTeamSport campaign, the #DearSports initiative invites school-aged young athletes to draft a letter to their “sport” expressing their love for the game and feelings on the loss of playing. “We are seeing the impact of the loss of sports on young athletes”, said Regional Director, Ben Dudley. “It is important that we let them express themselves during this time. We’re asking young athletes to write a letter to their favorite sport expressing what they miss, their hopes for the future and who their heroes are."
We highly encourage handwritten letters to be submitted answering these three questions:
• What do you miss about your favorite sport?
• What are you most looking forward to when sports returns?
• Who is your sport HERO? And, why?
Winners of the contest in each category: Elementary School, Middle School, High School and College will receive a $75 Gift Certificate from Score Sports and a swag bag from PCA-LA!
