This past November, PCA-Tampa Bay held its 4th annual fundraiser by way of its inaugural month-long campaign.  While we were not able to gather in-person for an exciting evening amongst peers, scholarship student-athletes, partners, and local sports celebs, we still found amazing support in our community.

Beach Bank (formerly Beach Community Bank) was the Title Sponsor of this campaign and its President & CEO, Chip Reeves, was our chairman for the month.  Chip, a PCA - Tampa Bay Board member, displayed his passion and competitive spirit for the chapter’s mission and helped PCA raise more money than in years past – a tough feat in 2020!

We reached out and asked for support so we can make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve.  With the uncertainty of the coming year, we believe the principles and positive sports experiences that PCA provides have never been more relevant and the end result, kids’ lives who have been transformed by well-trained coaches, never more necessary.

In addition to Beach Bank, our fundraiser received support from the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Tampa Bay Rays, our local Board members and other generous donors.  Chip’s efforts and results also enabled the chapter to receive a full matching grant from the Triad Foundation.

“We are incredibly grateful for all the support toward our mission,” said Mason Cathey, Executive Director,  PCA-Tampa Bay. “There are few things as promising for our society as developing individuals and teams full of strong character.  Thanks for the effort, hard work, and generosity of our staff, our Board, and our donors.”

2020! Wow!
