- 09.09.2019 Announcing PCA's new Chief Executive Officer
PCA-Portland held our third annual Coach-Am Charity Golf Tournament Presented by Jet Industries on June 25th at the Royal Oaks Country Club. This is our third year to be at Royal Oaks, and it is just a great spot to host the tournament. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the course is absolutely pristine.
19 teams participated in the tournament along with 19 VIP celebrity coaches and former athletes paired up with each team to complete the Coach-Am format. We raised over $58,000 dollars this year to help us continue developing Better Athletes and Better People in Oregon and SW Washington.
A big thanks to our golf committee (Ryan Schlunz, Jim Etzel, Matt Lagasse, and Justin Sawyer) for all the help with the tournament. No event would be possible without the help of volunteers and we have the best! Thank you, volunteers, for sacrificing your day to help make the tournament extra special for all who participated!
Special thanks to Jet Industries for being the Presenting sponsor. Thanks to RipCity Radio, Hillsboro Hops and Deloitte for sponsoring the breakfast, lunch and beverages throughout the day. Thanks to CDW and Tegile for sponsoring the 12th hole in one challenge.
Thanks to the following groups for sponsoring a hole: Ostercraft Homes, Clackamas Baseball Booster Association, Miller Nash Graham and Dunn, Sports Medicine Oregon, Providence Sports Medicine, Northwest Bank, Cache Valley Electric, UBS, Washington Trust Bank, Epic, Bolt Threads, Tim Kelly & Friends.
Thanks to Accent Marketing Group for the donation of the Fifty Fifty Water Bottles. Thanks to Brand Jordan for the donation of the hats, socks and sack packs. Thanks to Crown Trophy of Beaverton for sponsoring all the awards and the signage for the tournament. Big thanks to Full Sail Brewery for donating all the beer for the tournament.
