09.14.2018

Denver, CO—
Positive Coaching Alliance-Colorado, the Colorado Chapter of Positive Coaching Alliance, announced today that it has received a $200,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its programming efforts across the state through 2019. Positive Coaching Alliance develops BETTER ATHLETES, BETTER PEOPLE by working to transform the youth sports culture into a positive youth Development Zone® where all youth and high school athletes have a positive, character-building experience.

"We are excited to continue our outstanding relationship with the Daniels Fund,” said PCA-Colorado Executive Director Tom Puzio. “The values of character development in youth that we both share makes this a perfect fit for PCA-Colorado, and we are excited to continue our important work in the region with their support.”

The grant will help PCA-Colorado continue to expand its footprint throughout the State of Colorado through its "PCA for ALL" initiative, as well as continue their popular Dare to Chill Campaign for the third consecutive year.

“We are pleased to support Positive Coaching Alliance,” said Linda Childears, President & CEO of the Daniels Fund. “Our founder, Bill Daniels, believed strongly in the role sports can play in teaching youth important skills such as teamwork, hard work, perseverance, and leadership.”
