Billy Rodgers To Lead PCA-Seattle As Executive Director

02.27.2019

We are excited to welcome Billy Rodgers as the new Executive Director of the Seattle Chapter. He will oversee the Chapter Operations while implementing long term initiatives, growing partnerships with local business and government leaders, and working with the PCA-Seattle Chapter board.

Billy Rodgers is no stranger to the non-profit and athletics service. Rodgers worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County as the Leadership Engagement Officer for over 10 years. Before joining Boys & Girls Club, he served as the Basketball Outreach Manager with Seattle Sonics and Storm and coached local high school basketball.

Originally from Washington DC, Rodgers earned his BA at the University of Washington. He currently resides in Seattle with his family. He serves the sports community through other roles, such as a coach for youth sports and a radio broadcaster for local high school basketball games. In addition to his dedication to sports, he is an active member of the Rotary Club and mentors college students seeking careers in non-profit work.

“My previous experience at Boys & Girls Club developed my personal mission to serve the youth and create positive relationships," said Rodgers. "My role as Executive Director allows me to combine my passion for sports and positive youth development for the greater good of Seattle and the state of Washington."
