Naomi Stohlmann was a student-athlete in both basketball and softball at Concordia University-St. Paul. In 2008, Stohlmann was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. While in college, she began coaching at a variety of summer basketball camps and also coached AAU. Her high school coaching experience includes stops at Saint Paul Academy, Minnetonka, North Saint Paul, Westwood (AZ), and Dobson (AZ). Three teams achieved State Tournament berths. In 1999, Stohlmann received her first collegiate position as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at NDSU. That season, the Bison competed in the NCAA II National Championship Game. Additional collegiate experience includes a non-coaching G.A. position with the ASU softball team, assistant basketball coaching positions at Gustavus Adolphus College and Hamline University. Two years in a row, the Gusties achieved NCAA III National Tournament berths. Stohlmann also has experience coaching softball, volleyball, and badminton. She is a member of the WBCA and the Alliance of Women Coaches.
