Pulin Sanghvi joined Princeton from his previous post as assistant dean and director of the Career Management Center at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Earlier in his career, Sanghvi built Ivy Strategy, a successful career management practice based in the San Francisco Bay Area serving professionals at every tenure level and across a wide range of industries through two challenging economic cycles over the past nine years.
Sanghvi also served as a management consultant in the Palo Alto office of McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients in the high-tech sector. He was one of the first McKinsey alumni selected to join the McKinsey Alumni Consulting program, where he led client engagements and internal projects on behalf of the firm. He was also among the leaders of McKinsey’s firm-wide recruiting at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Before entering Stanford’s MBA program, Sanghvi was an analyst in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley & Company in New York, where he was among the leaders of the company’s firm-wide recruiting effort at Yale University.
Sanghvi earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Yale University in 1992. He serves as an Alumni Schools Committee Director for Yale, responsible for managing 150 alumni in conducting admissions interviews throughout the Palo Alto region.
