Rodger Rickard was the former president and CEO of Cornish & Carey Residential Real Estate from 1977-1997 in Palo Alto, CA. Rickard transformed a local firm to a position of national prominence. The company was ranked in the top 10 nationally and No. 1 in Northern California with sales volume of $3 billion.

Rickard received his bachelor's of science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA, where he was an All-American soccer player.  He also has two masters' from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH; and an Ed.D. from Stanford University.  

Shortly after graduating from Springfield College, Rickard was the Athletic Director at the Hawken School in Cleveland, which he now serves as a trustee.  While getting his doctorate at Stanford, he was an assistant coach for the men's soccer team.

Rickard was one of the founders of The University of Phoenix, served as Senior Vice President for Development of the Women's American Basketball League, and is a current Board member of the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC).
