Ellen Parker is a lifelong athlete with a passion for all sports. She played soccer at the University of Portland, where she captained the team and earned regional and national awards. She went on to be drafted by the Seattle Reign FC and played two years of professional soccer in Seattle, Denmark, and Portland.
She now brings her talents to Nike, Inc., where she has worked as a Social Media Specialist for North American Soccer and a Digital Merchant for Nike Skateboarding & Hurley. In her position as Digital Merchant, she serves an essential liaison to several functional teams and committees. She has shown initiative in presenting new ideas and projects to key partners and further demonstrates a genuine passion for learning.
Ellen also takes care to volunteer in her community. In 2012, she helped her family begin the Dream Center for Kids in Phoenix, Arizona. She also headed the UP women’s soccer charity project by raising $8,500 to design a soccer-themed room at the Ronald McDonald House in North Portland.
