Amie O'Brien

Owner, Leffew Fastpitch

Amie O’Brien joined the PCA-Cleveland Associate Board in 2017. She is the owner of Leffew Fastpitch and has been instructing pitchers for over 10 years. Amie is the daughter and student of Dave Leffew, one of the most winning fastpitch softball coaches in the state of Ohio. As a young athlete she led the Keystone Wildcats to their first State Championship and had an incredible overall high school record of 50 - 7 going undefeated her senior year. All Ohio, All American, and after taking a year off continued her career at Miami University for a season before deciding to change her focus. Amie still holds state records for Shutouts in a Season, Consecutive Shutouts, Most Strike Outs in a Game, and Perfect Games.

Amie is dedicated to the advancement of her students as athletes and young women. Her goal is for Leffew Fastpitch to have the most advanced and up to date instruction available, to have healthy and independent pitchers, and to motivate her students to be the best they can be not just on the field but in life.
