Kirk Mandlin recently started as Managing Director - Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors. Before, he was Managing Director and Complex Manager of the Portland, Oregon Complex which encompasses Wells Fargo Advisors branches throughout the state of Oregon and Vancouver, WA, Kirk leads 120 Financial Advisors and 70 staff members as they manage approximately $8.2 billion in client assets. Since moving to Portland, he has been named a “Top 10 Branch Manager in the United States” for three years in a row, 2013, 2014, and 2015 by On Wall Street Magazine.
Prior to moving to Portland, Kirk led the San Jose Market for Wells Fargo Advisors branches throughout the Silicon Valley and Modesto, CA. In 2011, Kirk was named a Premier Manager for the firm.
Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Kirk served as the Executive Director and Branch Manager of UBS Financial Services for their San Jose, CA Branch. During his tenure at UBS, Kirk’s branch was named one of the “50 Best Places To Work in the Bay Area” by San Jose Magazine.
An accomplished Financial Advisor in his own right, Kirk carries two advanced designations: Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) conferred upon him by the College for Financial Planning and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) conferred upon him by the Investment Management Consultants Association. Kirk utilizes this experience and education to aid his team of financial advisors in designing and implementing strategies to help build, manage, preserve and transfer assets for wealthy families, foundations, endowments, and companies.
Kirk holds a Master of Management Degree from Chancellor University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Finance from Western Washington University. In addition, Kirk has studied at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated from the Morgan Stanley Senior Branch Manager’s Program.
Kirk has a rich history of community service and currently acts as the President of the Beaverton Aloha Little League and a Board member of Positive Coaching Alliance. In the past, Kirk has served as the President of the Valley Christian Junior High School Parent Prayer Fellowship and the Olympia / Thurston County Chamber of Commerce.
