Marketing Programs Manager, SureID
Kristin Lucas-Tiefenthaler grew up in Tigard, OR., where she played basketball, soccer, tennis and cross-country in HS and later graduated from Portland State University with BS in Communications. Growing up the daughter of a professional athlete (her father, Maurice Lucas, played professional basketball for the 1977 NBA Champion Portland Trail Blazers), Kristin grew to understand the value of sports and the positive impact of serving the community at an early age.
Having spent the last four years working at Nike, where she gained experience in Finance, Basketball Marketing, Footwear Concept Creation, and Global Live Presentation; she was able to see, first-hand, the influence sports has on culture and its potential to shape future generations. Prior to Nike, she began her career developing corporate partnerships for the Portland Trail Blazers. Currently, Kristin works as the Marketing Programs Manager for SureID, where she manages nonprofit partnerships. She is married and has 3 children, Lucas, Mason, and Bella. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending quality time with her family and supports “Teaching Life Lessons through Sport” with the Maurice Lucas Foundation as a member of the ML2020 Board.
