Hank Lewis has devoted his entire professional life to the development of young people, from his first coaching experience, right out of college, when he founded the McCallie School(TN) lacrosse program, winning two state championships within the first three years of program’s start; through 15 years as a full-time college professor; to his recent coaching experience, developing academic and athletic All-Americans in top-25 programs in all three divisions of NCAA men’s and women’s soccer.
 
Along the way, he has coached all ranges/ages of boys and girls soccer teams to tournament and state championships or finalist berths in multiple states.
 
A two-sport collegiate athlete, Hank played soccer for elite adult clubs in the US and finished off his career playing internationally.  He also was on the technical coaching staff for Bahamas Men's and Women's National Teams in World Cup & Olympic soccer qualifying competitions, and oversaw programming to develop new player and coaching talent for the Bahamas Football Association’s National Teams.  He is currently an assistant coach at Colorado School of Mines, 2014 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament Champions and finished season ranked 25th among D2 men's soccer programs.
