Mark Howard found success Double Goal Coaching as a high school varsity boy’s lacrosse coach, guiding his teams to four straight Wisconsin state championship appearances, including back to back state championships. He was twice named conference coach of the year, and was US Lacrosse Wisconsin high school coach of the year in 2009. He was later selected to coach in the US Lacrosse National Senior Showcase. Now at the youth level, Mark is a longtime boy’s lacrosse coach and coaching director for a large youth lacrosse organization, as well as a youth basketball coach. Mark is a Coaching Education Program certified trainer for US Lacrosse, where he delivers dynamic coaching clinics across the country. He played varsity football and lacrosse in high school, and was a member of the inaugural Illinois lacrosse high school all-star team in 1988. He also played collegiate and post collegiate club lacrosse. Mark enjoys running (a former marathoner), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and being a Second Goal parent with his wife, to their two sons.
