Jeaney Garcia is the PCA-Hawaii, Executive Director and the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship Liaison. She has been a coach, teacher, official, and administrator for the past 30 years. She has also been honored as "Coach of the Year" for numerous schools and organizations, including Sport for Understanding (SFU) based in Washington, D.C., where she was the National SFU coach for cross-country, basketball, and track and field. She led the National SFU teams to seven successful tours in the countries of Australia, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. Jeaney’s love of sport is self-evident. She has competed as an athlete at all levels: Currently Pro-Lite sponsored senior pickleball player, Nike sponsored masters cross-country runner, Regionally sponsored triathlete, Olympic Trials marathon runner, Semi-Pro basketball player, Division I collegiate athlete in both cross-country and basketball, and captained five sports as varsity high school athlete in volleyball, cross-country, basketball, track and field, and softball. Jeaney’s educational background includes a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition; M.S. in Kinesiology and an MAA in Athletic Administration.
