Rick Davis

Davis is a retired professional soccer player and former member the U.S. National Team. He earned All-American recognition in high school and won a national championship with Santa Clara University. After one year of college soccer, Davis joined the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League. The team earned three league titles in 1978, 1980 and 1982, and in 1979 Davis was named North American Player of the Year.

After retiring from play, Davis served as a general manager for the Los Angeles Salsa of the American Professional Soccer League. Davis was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2001, and served as the executive director of AYSO, the largest youth soccer organization in the country.
