Executive Vice President, Impact, Evaluation and Learning (PhD, MM)
Wendy joined PCA as the Director of Research and Evaluation in 2017. In this role Wendy guides PCA's use of research, evaluation and data to show and grow PCA's impact, and to support continuous improvement of PCA's programs. In 2019, Wendy was promoted to Executive Vice President, Impact, Evaluation and Learning.
Wendy has extensive experience evaluating social impact programs and strategies, developing measurement, learning and evaluation (MLE) plans for nonprofits and foundations, and integrating data into organizational decision making. Her evaluation expertise embraces the range of quantitative and qualitative methods and she frequently presents on evaluation at venues including the annual American Evaluation Association and the International Network for Social Network Analysis conferences.
Wendy grew up playing softball, was a state all star in basketball and a ranked junior tennis player. She holds degrees from the University of Washington (B.Sc.), Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management (M.M.), and Oregon State University (PhD).
Wendy has traveled, lived and worked around the world. She currently lives in Seattle where she enjoys mountain biking, cooking, and fantasy football, as well as cheering for her niece and nephew's football, wrestling, basketball and cheer teams.
