Larry Brown

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Coach

National Advisory Board

Brown is the only coach in NBA history to lead eight different teams to the playoffs and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002. An All-ACC guard at the University of North Carolina and three-time ABA All-Star, Brown graduated from UNC in 1963. His long coaching career began at Davidson College, and perhaps his greatest achievement as a coach is the number of teams he has impacted, taught, and led to success. A three-time ABA Coach of the Year, 1988 Naismith College Coach of the Year and 2001 NBA Coach of the Year, Brown is the only coach to win both an NCAA National Championship and an NBA Championship.

Brown has appeared at fundraising events for PCA.
