Chapter Board Members - Central Texas

Meredith has been in Austin for over twenty years. She graduated from the University of Texas and was fortunate enough to land a local job with KASE/KVET Radio stations in sales. She later went on to work for Forest Pharmaceuticals for numerous years and with that experience developed lifelong friends in the medical field. She currently resides in Austin, Texas, is a mother of 8 year old twins and is married to local businessman, Jim Bagan.

Over the years, Meredith has served with and been involved in numerous non profits in Austin including: The Paramount/State Theatre, Therapy Pets Pals serving senior/assisted living homes, development committee for the Austin Humane Society, Co-Chair with her husband for The March of Dimes Walk, The Rise School, Co-Chair for Wonders and Worries Que Maravilla gala, Co-Chair for Hand to Hold campaign, a member of the Helping Hand Home Society and the Nominations and Accountability Chair for the Board of Wonders and Worries. She has been a Sunday school teacher and member of St. Michaels Episcopal church for numerous years and served on one of its committees in their quest for opening a preschool which became a reality in 2010. She is currently serving as PTO President for her children’s school, Eanes Elementary.

Meredith grew up as a competitive tennis player traveling all over the Unites States competing in tournaments. She knows firsthand how influential athletic coaches and mentors are in development and life skills. There are several coaches from her childhood that remain in her life as lifelong friends and mentors. She continues to have a passion for sports of all types and is committed to PCA and their mission.
